Nick Williams will help manage PAC activities, distributions
(Salem, OR) – The Create Jobs PAC has announced a new administrator, Nick Williams, to help with the management of the PAC contributions and activities.
“Greg Astley and Astley Consulting Group, Inc. has done a fantastic job of getting the Create Jobs PAC up and off the ground in the last three years and we couldn’t have done it without his skills and hard work,” stated T.J. Sullivan, former Salem City Councilor and current Create Jobs PAC Chair.
The Create Jobs PAC was formed in 2010 and endeavors to promote the creation and protection of private sector job creation by making financial contributions to candidate or ballot measure campaigns that support public policies that strengthen and /or protect the business community.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to help make a difference for businesses and help strengthen our economy,” said Williams. “I’m excited and knowing Greg will be there to offer guidance and support is reassuring.”
“We feel extremely fortunate to have Nick Williams in this position to help keep moving our mission and goals forward,” said Sullivan. “He has been and continues to talk with business owners, employees and others in the community about what is important to help create private-sector jobs.” Williams will continue to work for the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce as Public Policy/Membership Manager.
“Greg’s unique expertise and skills as a political strategist have been invaluable to the Board as we’ve made endorsements and contributions in the past,” Sullivan concluded. “We look forward to hearing his opinions and insight as we look ahead to the future.”
